It is surely a great news to announce to you (1.5 billion+ active users of WhatsApp) that Facebook is now rolling out dark mode for WhatsApp and it is only currently available on the beta version and will be soon be released on the stable WhatsApp app.
The dark mode on WhatsApp is present as a dark theme and it can automatically switch between the light and the dark theme according to the time of the day. Although, the chat background may still remain the default WhatsApp chat background and you can also use a wallpaper or color background. It all depends on the user’s preference.
According to Lifehacker, WhatsApp is the latest app to join the fun of dark mode (on Android, at least), but you’ll have to do a thing or two if you want to change your theme right now.
Like other apps, WhatsApp relies on the beta tester to try out the new features on WhatsApp before releasing it on the stable version.
However, The beta program of WhatsApp on Google PlayStore has reached the maximum number of testers that can participate in it and isn’t accepting any more testers.
