FIFA 21 was officially launched by EA Sports on Friday (9). The game is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC (Windows), via Steam and Origin. Those who buy the console versions will be entitled to a free update for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S , when the consoles reach the market in November.
FIFA 21 arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X
Whoever chooses to transfer the game to the new generation has another good news: progress will also be transferred. Everything the player does on Volta Football and FIFA Ultimate Team will be retained once they upgrade the game to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
As the update will be a complete conversion, the versions for the new consoles should also have a graphic update, resolution, frame rate and higher reading speed, thanks to SSD storage.
Anyone who continues to play throughout the FIFA season will also benefit from EA Play membership, such as XP boosts at the start of each FUT season, exclusive uniforms and rewards for customizing the stadium. Subscribers are also entitled to a 10% discount on the purchase of FIFA Points.
The FIFA 21 edition for Switch is also available in the Nintendo Store, in digital format. This version, however, is known as “Legacy Edition”, and has no graphic improvements. This edition’s FUT is also limited.
In addition, FIFA 21 on the Switch features multiplayer for four players locally and up to eight participants in online mode. To play via the Internet, you must subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online, just as it does on PS4 and Xbox One, with PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold.
