Apple announced a Hi event, Speed for next Tuesday (13) and one of the highlights will certainly be the next generation of iPhones. It is believed that the company will launch four models of the cell phone, called iPhone 12 Mini, 12, 12 Pro and Pro Max : it should add 5G, LIDAR sensor and more features. We can also have the first Mac with an ARM processor.
Like WWDC 2020, the event will be broadcast on YouTube and the Apple website to everyone. The livestream starts at 2pm EST on October 13, 2020.
What to expect from the iPhone 12 in features and price?
There have been several rumors circulating for months about Apple’s new phones. In summary, here’s what to expect: we will probably have the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 with dual camera and storage from 64 GB.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max would have premium features: both would have a triple camera with 3D LIDAR depth sensor, just as found on the latest iPad Pro. This means that they will be better able to perform augmented reality tasks.

All models must have an A14 Bionic processor and support 5G in sub-6 GHz bands, but only the Pro Max would come with mmWave connectivity (millimeter waves), which uses higher frequencies to reach speeds above 1 Gb / s.
In addition, they would bring OLED screens (no LCD) with slightly less notch; and a design reminiscent of the iPhone 4, with a flat stainless steel border between the two layers of glass. We hope to see it in navy blue, just like the Apple Watch Series 6, and in other colors.
The iPhone 12 should finally get a reinforced USB cable for charging, to reduce the generation of electronic waste. In addition, it will likely be sold without a headset or plug adapter in the box. Also don’t expect to see a USB-C port or a 120 Hz ProMotion screen for now.
Apple may reserve some additional surprises at the event, such as the first Mac with an ARM processor, AirPods Studio headsets and a smaller HomePod speaker. Rumors say that later this year, we will have a 13-inch MacBook Pro and a 24-inch iMac with Apple Silicon.
