Microsoft announced the launch of Forza Street for Android and iPhone on Tuesday (5): it is very different from game to Xbox One, and is focused on rapid runs of less than a minute to unlock new cars and parts. Those who download by the beginning of June will win extra items in the app; and there are additional gifts for Samsung Galaxy Store users.
Forza Street “is based on a world of street racing with interesting characters, mystery and intrigue, explored through a narrative campaign, weekly Spotlight events and themed events with limited time,” explains Microsoft.
Windows 10 users have been able to play Forza Street for some time. Progress is synchronized via Xbox Live: that is, you will keep your cars, parts and items if you download them on your phone. Some people had also been testing the game on iOS and Android for a few months, before today’s global launch.
Microsoft gives gifts on Forza Street
Until June 5, 2020, Microsoft will give a “Founder’s Pack” to all players on Android and iPhone: the package includes Ford GT 2017, gold and in-app credits to unlock new cars and expand its collection.
Anyone who downloads through the Samsung Galaxy Store will have up to two additional gifts: one of them is the 2015 Ford Mustang GT with a custom painting with the Galaxy theme. If you use a Galaxy S20 phone, you will also receive the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, plus credits and gold.
Forza Street is available on the App Store (iPhone and iPad), Google Play , Samsung Galaxy Store (Android) and Microsoft Store (Windows 10). It is free with in-app purchases.
