Nintendo revealed that they are currently planning to extend the life cycle of Nintendo Switch to maximize the sales momentum of this game console.
According to reports, Nintendo President Furukawa Furukawa explained at the shareholders meeting that Nintendo Switch has entered its fourth year, but its momentum is increasing.
We think there are two factors behind this;
- First, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite are equipped with two different hardware configurations
- The second factor is that Nintendo focuses on developing content for a single platform. We hope to extend the life cycle of Nintendo Switch while maximizing these advantages.
Nintendo Switch is an electronic game machine produced by Nintendo of Japan, which was released on March 3, 2017 in Japan, North America, Europe, and Hong Kong, China, and was released on December 1, the same year in South Korea and Taiwan, in 2019. It will be available in mainland China on December 10.
