Poco F2 Pro is officially announced and as rumours stated in the past, it is the rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro. This is coming nearly two years after the launch of the its predecessor POCO F1. it is the second device after the Poco F1 that the company launched in the global market. Although, the smartphone manufacturer recently launched the Poco X2 in India.
Poco F2 Pro comes with a large 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that offers 1080×2400 pixels resolution which supports HDR+ and has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It features a 20MP pop-up selfie camera and also a Gorilla Glass protection on both front and back.
At the back, Poco F2 Pro has a quad rear camera setup that houses 64 MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, 5 MP macro lens, 13 MP wide angle lens and 2 MP depth sensor. It is capable of 2X Zoom with a 5MP sensor and 50mm lens. On the front, it features a 20 MP pop up selfie camera. It is capable of shooting 8k video at 30fps and 4k videos at 60fps.
It is powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Its graphics is powered by Adreno 650. The phone runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 software out of the box.
Poco F2 Pro is equipped with a 4,700 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It is WiFi 6 certified and has Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD. The phone also includes NFC, USB Type-C, in-display fingerprint sensor, face ID support, 3.5mm headphone jack and more.
The Poco F2 Pro model 6GB/128GB will sell for $500 while the 8GB+256GB goes for $600. AliExpress and Gearbest have first sale exclusivity and pre-order is open already. Shipping starts on May 19.
