Presented to the Indian public on Monday (27), the new smartphone of the South Korean brand will hit stores this week with Android Go, entry card with 3,000 mAh battery and low cost: the suggested price starts at 5,499 rupees ( about 74 United States Dollar in direct conversion).
The Galaxy M01 Core is the third smartphone priced below 10,000 rupees (about 134 United States Dollar in direct conversion) announced in India in the last 60 days. According to Samsung, this is “the most affordable smartphone from Samsung in India and was conceptualized based on a deep understanding of users who still need to upgrade to smartphones, as well as novice smartphone users”.
Samsung’s launch has a 5.3-inch screen with HD + resolution, with a similar look to the Galaxy A01 Core, announced in Indonesia on Tuesday (21). Regarding the cameras, there is a single sensor on the back, with 8 megapixels, accompanied only by a flash. For selfies, the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP.
The technical sheet is simple, with MediaTek MT6739 processor and battery with a capacity of 3,000 mAh, which yields 11 hours of use, according to Samsung. The Galaxy M01 Core will be available in two editions, with RAM and storage of 1 GB + 16 GB and 2 GB + 32 GB.
The Android Go is the highlight of the phone. The phone will arrive in stores with the lightest version of Google’s operating system with Samsung’s One UI interface, and features under the “Make for India” seal, such as the tool to delete duplicate photos, in order to assist those who have never had a smartphone.
