According to foreign media xda-developers, Xiaomi is developing at least two new smartphones, belonging to the same product series, one with a 64MP main camera and the other with a 108MP main camera.
XDA found in MIUI 12 multiple evidences of the existence of Xiaomi’s upcoming two smartphones. The codenames of the two phones belong to the Gauguin series and may share several key specifications.
One of the highlights of the two phones will be the rear four cameras. The standard version of the Gauguin smartphone will have a 64-megapixel main camera, while the higher-end version of the Gauguin Pro smartphone will have a 108-megapixel main camera .
The Gauguin series of mobile phones also marked three regions – China, India and the world, indicating that these new smartphones will enter the Indian and other international markets for sale. The Gauguin model is expected to end in J17, while Gauguin Pro will use the model ending in J17 Pro . In addition, these two smartphones are expected to be equipped with Qualcomm SoC, unlike the recently exposed Redmi K30 Ultra may be equipped with MediaTek SoC.
In addition to the camera, there is no further information about these new smartphones. In addition, it remains to be seen which sensors are used in mobile phones.
